The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the recruitment of Agniveervayu (Sports) for intake 02/2025 under the Agnipath Scheme. This recruitment is open to unmarried Indian male candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. Eligibility Criteria for IAF Agniveervayu Sports Recruitment 2025
For Science Subjects:
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following criteria:
Passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
Passed a Three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English was not a subject in Diploma). OR
Passed a Two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English was not a subject in Vocational Course).
For Other than Science Subjects:
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following criteria:
Passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination in any stream approved by recognized Education Boards with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
Passed a Two-year Vocational Course with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English was not a subject in Vocational Course).
Important Notes:
Candidates eligible for Science Subjects can also apply for Other than Science Subjects.
Only Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT governments as of the registration date will be considered.
Marks will be considered as per the exact percentage mentioned in the mark sheet (e.g., 49.99% will be taken as 49% and will not be rounded up to 50%).
Medical Standards for IAF Agniveervayu Sports Recruitment 2025
Candidates must meet the following mandatory medical standards:
Height: Minimum 152 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age
Chest: Minimum 77 cm with at least 5 cm expansion
IAF Agniveervayu Sports Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Selection trials will be conducted in two phases:
(a) Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
Candidates must qualify in the following tests:

Trials will be conducted for the applied sports disciplines at venues decided by the Air Force Sports Control Board (AFSCB) in Delhi-NCR.
Important Instructions:
Candidates must bring their sports shoes and appropriate attire (shorts/track pants).
